Since graduating with highest honors both in piano and chamber music from the Giuseppe Tartini Conservatory, Kapinkovska has steadily built a reputation as a compelling and distinctive performer, appearing regularly across Italy, Germany, Slovenia, the United Kingdom, and her native North Macedonia.

She is also an active presence on the international competition circuit, having participated in prestigious events such as the Maria Canals International Piano Competition, the Ettore Pozzoli International Piano Competition, and the International Paderewski Piano Competition. In May 2025, she was awarded First Prize at the Città di Cantù International Piano Competition, subsequently making her concerto debut with the Mihail Jora Philharmonic Orchestra of Bacău under the direction of Ovidiu Balan, performing Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3.

In recent seasons, she has debuted with the Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto at Vicenza’s Teatro Olimpico, and has been featured in high-profile and innovative musical projects across Italy, including The Holy Piano concert touring project and the ambitious Piano Hexagon.  Her concert activity includes appearances at internationally recognized venues such as Fazioli Hall, Kawai France in Paris, and St. Olave’s Church in London, as well as major Italian theatres including Teatro Comunale di Monfalcone, Teatro Aldo Moro Saronno, Teatro Garibaldi Enna, Teatro Verdi, Palazzo Ragazzoni Sacile and the Certosa di Firenze, among others.

Over the years, Kapinkovska has established an impressive CV, with more than ten national and international awards, including prizes at the Premio Toscana Città di Cascina, the Concorso Internazionale Paolo Neglia (XXXV edition), the Radovljica Piano Competition, the Concorso Internazionale Piove di Sacco, and the Concorso Internazionale Città di Cervignano.

She was also a finalist at the prestigious Brunelli Competition, where she made her concerto debut performing Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 20 in D minor, K. 466 at the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza. Her performances have further drawn international attention, notably earning recognition from Martha Argerich for her award-winning appearance at the Vigo International Competition.

Teodora has recently been accepted as the only pianist into the highly selective Specialized Master’s program at the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana in Lugano, where she will continue her studies in the class of Professor Roberto Plano.
